- To grow King oyster mushroom on cardboard and used coffee ground, substrate is prepared in formulation: 70% cardboard and 30% used coffee ground. The mixture substrate is added 5% CaSO4. Rice bran 20% is used as supplementary substances to increase mushroom yield and to achieve faster mycelial growth.

- The prepared substrates are adjusted to 65-70% moisture

- The substrates are set in the plastic bags or bottles, then sterilized at 121˚C for 60 minutes or steam 9 hours at 1000C. Cool down in 24hour

- Grain spawn inoculation: The substrates are inoculated with grain spawn of P. eryngii under aseptic conditions. (5-10g grain spawn/1000g substrate)

- Incubation: The inoculated substrates are incubated at room temperature 20-240C in darkness in 20-30 days. When the bags become white totally by running mycelium, let’s move them to fruiting room.

- Fruiting mushrooms and harvest: The spawn is kept at temperature 10-150 C, moisture 90% with diffused light. Then the first pins are verified
